You will need:
1. Felt 20x20 cm
2. Hexagon pattern made of paper
3. Needle and thread
4. Scissors
5. Pins
6. Various beads, shells, etc for decoration
To make the basket, I used a piece of felt that I made on my own. But you also can use pre-made sheet of felt which you can buy in a craft store.
Put the hexagon pattern on the felt, pin it, and cut it off.
Make cuts as shown on the image above
Take tree triangles and pin them as it's shown on the picture.
Stitch them where they were pinned. See the picture.
Take other 3 triangles and stitch them as the first row. Please, look at the image.
Then, decorate the basket with sea shells, beads, lace, embroidery or some other decorating elements.
Here we go! There is a finished basket. The diameter is 12 cm
